Introduction
 The Department of Ophthalmics has made it a primary goal to nurture and train highly qualified professionals in the field of optics.  It is the Department's goal to equip  these emerging professionals with the necessary theories and practices of Ocular Optics and Refraction that is necessary for professional success.

 Therefore, the Department of Ophthalmic Optics has promoted a vigorous course of study which includes Refraction, Ocular Disease and Prevention, Ophthalmic Optics and Glass Dispensing.

 We assist our students in pursuing the best possible career opportunities in the following fields: optical centers, ophthalmic hospitals, general hospitals, frame manufacturing companies, camera and lens manufacturing companies, etc.
